The Lagos State Government has commenced the construction of the 540-metre Alhaji Jimoh Drive/Baptist Church Street in the Ijagemo Community of Ijegun, Lagos State.
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, told our reporter.
According to him, the project which is being implemented by the Office of Rural Development, forms part of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Agenda, which seeks to link inner streets with major roads across the state.
Set to be completed within six months, the road project will also feature solar-powered streetlights, enhancing both visibility and safety for residents while improving overall road quality.
