APC Young Aspirants Meet, Consider Presenting A Consensus Contender For Constituency I Assembly Seat

Three young aspirants vying for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in  the Lagos State House of Assembly, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), are considering synergizing and presentation of one of them as  candidate for the much – coveted seat.

THE IMPACT gathered that the three aspirants, who are 40 years and below, are Samson Bisiriyu (Igbega Ikorodu), Eniola Adeyemi (Wake-Up) and Bolaji Isikalu (IBO).

The youthful aspirants, who have brought dynamism and colour to the political scene, met at the Eroz Place, Aga, Ikorodu, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

The three young politicians are among about 7 aspirants that have paid and collected APC’s expression of interest and the nomination forms.

One of the aspirants that spoke with THE IMPACT said that they are being strategic and planning to have a common front regarding the upcoming APC primary in Ikorodu.

He said that the three of them are considering presenting one of them and rally round such.

“It is the major issue that we are considering in order to have strength since we are all youths and we are of the future. That was our first meeting and the discussion is still ongoing”, he said.

Another aspirant who was also at the meeting, confirmed the issue discussed.

“We had great discussion and we tried to be factual with ourselves considering the dynamism at play towards the primary elections. We are just trying to see how to pull our strength together and work in the interest of the youths and entire Ikorodu”, he said.

“We are meeting again soon to further our discussion”.
