The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motuntayo Gbadebo -Alogba has congratulated the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, on his birthday.
The elder statesman clocked 85 years today.
A statement issued by the council boss on behalf of herself and the entire people of her council area said that the celebrant has contributed greatly to the development of the state.
“On behalf of the good people of Ijede LCDA, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our father, leader, and mentor, the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, as he marks his 85th birthday.
“DG, as we fondly call him, is a true elder statesman whose selfless service and immense contributions to the growth and development of our dear state remain exemplary.
“His steadfast commitment to good governance, legacy of integrity, and passion for grassroots political mobilisation continue to inspire generations of leaders.
“On this joyous occasion, I pray that Almighty God bless him with continued good health, renewed strength, divine wisdom, and many more active years ahead.
