Estate Agents Association of Nigeria Inaugurates Bayeku Zone, Executives

Hon. Dr. Godwin Alenkhe, ERCAAN National President presenting th take – off grant to the newly inaugurated executives of Bayeku Zone of ERCAAN.

The Estate Rent and Commissioning Agents Association of Nigeria (ERCAAN), recently inaugurated the Bayeku Zone of the association and sworn in its executives in a ceremony that drew dignitaries and guests across lkorodu and beyond.

ERCAAN National President, Hon. Dr. Godwin Alenkhe, inaugurated the zone at De Jamzzy Signature Hotel, Bayeku in Igbogbo-Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ikorodu division of Lagos State, with the association’s national and state officers among those that witnessed the historic event.

In his proclamation at the inauguration event, Hon. Dr. Alenkhe, said:

“In line with this great association’s constitution that was reviewed in 2022, and having fulfilled all obligations and requirements. I stand with the mandate of the trustees of this association to pronounce you, today, the 1st of October 2025, you, within this environment and this locality, as ERCAAN Bayeku Zone”, he declared.

Members of the ERCAAN Bayeku zone sworn-in at the event were Hon. Saibu Ayo Moruf, Chairman, Hon Olurotmi Adesipe, Vce Chairman, Hon. Jimoh Muideen Gbadebo, General Secretary, Hon. Aliu Jimoh Momoh, Financial Secretary, Hon. Akinwale Babatunde, Assistant Financial Secretary, Hon. Taje Adebowale Adeleke, Assistant Secretary, Hon. Mar Chidi Jacobs, PRO, Hon. Adeniyi Motunrayo Joyce, Assistant PRO, and Hon. Olayinka Olatunji, Welfare Officer.

Others are Hon. (Mrs) Yetunde Abiodun Sanni, Social Secretary, Hon. Najeemdeen Babatunde Kasali, Chief Whip, Hon. Keshiro Nurudeen Oluwatobiloba, Assistant Chief Whip, Hon. Taiwo Banjoko Ex – Officio 1 and Hon. Ajayi Ayodele Julius, Ex-Officio 2.

The association also honored and presented awards to four members – Mr. Olu Ayodele (EFA), Prince Adeloye Kayode, Hon. Taiwo Banjoko, and Hon. Saibu Ayo Moruf, for their commitment and dedication to the growth of ERCAAN.

Meanwhile, Hon. Dr. Alenkhe, while delivering his keynote address, highlighted the vision and benefits of ERCAAN in fostering professionalism and unity among agents.

He said that ERCAAN was founded purposely to regulate activities of real estate practitioners, and create standard in the profession.

“Our founding father deemed it fit to let us have a body that will be the rallying point to correct the bad impression that the public and government are having concerning the business we are doing”, he said.

“It is quite unfortunate that this business, real estate, has been bastardised and that is why, if we find ourselves in an environment like this, we need to dedicate some minutes to let our members know what this association stands for. ERCAAN is an association that is founded on the threshold of honesty”, he added.

He commended members that have been dedicating themselves to the progress of the association, and charged them to sustain their commitment.

To further encourage members that are dedicated, Dr. Alenkhe allocated one of the five slots of the association’s award – EFA, to Hon. Taiwo O. Banjoko, for his relentless dedication and efficiency.

During the proclamation of the Bayeku Zone of ERCAAN, Hon. Alenkhe also presented a cheque of N50, 000 to the new zone as a take – off grant.

Earlier, Hon. Saibu Ayo Moruf, Chairman of the newly inaugurated zone, in his address, welcomed the chieftains of the national and state bodies of ERCAAN, and members, thanking them for the inauguration.

He pledged to work with them in taking the association forward.

“As we embark on this new journey, I look forward to working with all of you to achieve our shared vision for a brighter future”, he said.

At the ceremony, certificates and ERCAAN’s national documents, including the association’s flag, CAC certificate and other official papers, were presented to the newly elected executives.

In their respective goodwill messages, Hon. (Pastor) Adekanbi, Chairman, Igbogbo zone, Hon. Ibirogba (EFA), National Secretary; Hon. Julius Aderemi, State Chairman among others, congratulated the new zone and its executives, and charged them to uphold the tenets of the association.
