Alhaji Odumbo Appointed Member Chartered Institute of Personnel Management’s National Public Policy Committee

Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, Education Secretary, LGEA Ikorodu

The Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, has been appointed as a member of the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee (PPAC), for the year 2025/2026.

Alhaji Odumbo, who, until recently, was the Principal, Lagos State University (LASU) International School, Ojo, was also the immediate past Chairman of Ojo-Badagry Chapter of the Institute, former General Secretary of Lagos State Branch of the Institute and the immediate past member of the National Education Committee of the Institute.

His appointment was contained in a letter signed by Oluwatoyin Naiwo, FCIPM Registrar/Chief Executive.

“On behalf of the President & Chairman of Council, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, FCIPM, fnli, and the entire Governing Council, I am pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as Member of the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee (PPAC) for the year 2025/2026. Congratulations!

“You are appreciated for accepting to serve on this Committee as we continue to work together towards the growth and development of the Institute.”

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) is the Nigeria statutory and apex professional body for Human Resources Management. It is chartered by an Act of the National Assembly, which establishes its governing council and empowers it to regulate HR practice and professional standards nationwide.

At the core of its objectives is the promotion and development of personnel management science and practice, develop high professional competence standards in Nigeria’s public and private sectors and conduct research and publish human resource management materials.
