The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hameed Aroyewun, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorusen V, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, on his 10th year coronation anniversary, and described his reign as one that ushered in the golden era of transformation.
Aroyewun, who is a native of Igbogbo Kingdom, and also a Prince from Onadugba branch of Rademo Ruling House of Ikorodu, added that the monarch has been using his wisdom and foresightedness to bring development and make his kingdom the pride of his people.
The new council boss gave the commendations in a statement commemorating the revered monarch’s 10 years on the throne of his ancestors.
“On this very historic milestone, I join the entire people of Ikorodu division, to joyously celebrate and honor the remarkable 10th anniversary of the reign of His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu.
“Kabiyesi, your decade-long reign has been nothing short of extraordinary, marked by unparalleled dedication, visionary leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of the Ikorodu Kingdom. Your ascension to the throne ten years ago ushered in a golden era of transformation, where your wisdom, compassion, and foresight have elevated our community to new heights of development, peace, and cultural pride”, he said.
Aroyweun emphasized that Oba Shotobi has achieved a whole lot for his people, ensuring unity and making them proud of their culture which his reign has also done so much in preserving.
“As a proud son of the Onadugba wing of the Rademo Ruling House of lkorodu, I am proud of the countless milestones achieved under your reign, the unity you have fostered among our diverse communities, the preservation of our rich cultural heritage, and the bridges you have built for progress are testaments to your exceptional leadership. Your reign has been a symphony of progress, resonating with the aspirations of our people and setting a foundation for a brighter future.
“Once again, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to you, Kabiyesi, for a decade of impactful and transformative leadership. I pray that the Almighty grants you continued good health, boundless wisdom, and divine strength to lead us even further into an era of greater prosperity and harmony”.
