The Achievers’ Crew, a socio – cultural and development group in Ikorodu Division, has described the newly commissioned ‘Aafin’ (Palace) Adeboruwa, as an embodiment of the rich cultural values of Igbogbo people, reflecting the ancient town’s enduring unity and shared commitment to progress.
The crew stated this in a statement on Monday, and also commended the initiator, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), on the monumental feat, while congratulating the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, on the commissioning of the new palace.

“Yesterday marked a historic and joyous milestone as we celebrated the official commissioning of the Adeboruwa Palace, a magnificent edifice that embodies our rich cultural heritage, enduring unity, and shared commitment to progress.
“We express our deepest gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini whose visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to community development, have played a pivotal role in making this landmark achievement a reality.

“We also extend our profound respect to His Royal Majesty, Oba Barr. Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, for his steadfast leadership, wisdom, and tireless devotion to the well-being of his people. Our sincere appreciation goes to the Adeboruwa-in-Council and all indigenes of Igbogbo, whose collective efforts and unwavering support have brought this vision to life”.
Achievers’ Crew further emphasised the symbolic nature of the edifice, stating that:

“The Adeboruwa Palace is far more than a structure, it is a lasting symbol of our unity, heritage, and forward looking aspirations.
“May it serve as a beacon of hope, pride, and inspiration for generations to come.
