The Vice Chairman – elect for Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba, has assured the generality of Ikorodu people that the next administration of the council which he will be constituting in the next few days with his Chairman, Prince Adedayo Ladega, will do their best not to disappoint the people but grow Ikorodu to a greater height.
Alogba spoke with reporters at the Ikorodu Local Government secretariat early this morning after the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission’s Returning Officer , Alhaji Yekinni Aregbesola, declared Prince Ladega the winner of the council poll, with a total votes of 38, 946.
The joint All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket of Prince Ladega and Hon. Alogba, recorded a massive victory in the 2025 Local Government Elections on Saturday.
APC was declared winner and returned elected at 12:35 am on Sunday.
Princess Saidat Odofin of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 2592 votes, Qs. Abdulazeez Adekunle Awesu, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, 2753 and that of the APM scored 68 votes.
“I want to say a very big thank you to the generality of Ikorodu people for keeping their trust in us and I want to assure them that on behalf of myself and Prince Adedayo Ladega, that we will not disappoint you and ensure that we do our very best.
“We will also ensure that we deliver on our manifesto and take Ikorodu to a greater height. We will grow Ikorodu”, Hon. Alogba assured.
He was full of appreciation for the apex leadership of APC In Ikorodu, party members and the general citizens of Ikorodu.
