-As candidates get overwhelming support at party’s flag bearer’s ward

The campaign organization of Hon. Ameen Olawale Ibrahim Apanisile the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), and Hon. Matthew Alliu Adesanya, his running mate, popularly called APA-MATH, officially commenced its Ward-to-Ward Campaign across the council area, as part of intensified grassroots mobilization ahead of the July 12th Local Government Elections.
The strategic grassroots mobilization kicked off on Wednesday at Ward E3 (Agbala), the political ward of the APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Apanishile. He was accompanied by his Vice Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Adesanya and the five councillorship candidates, party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters, the campaign train was met with cheers, music, and resounding community support.

APA – MATH Director General, Hon. Wale Olowolagba, while introducing the candidates to the teeming crowd, emphasized the team’s readiness to deliver effective, inclusive and responsive leadership.
Mrs. Aderonke Omololu, Ward E3 Chairperson, along with prominent leaders of youth groups, market women, artisans, religious associations, and ethnic communities, all pledged their support for the APC and its candidates.
Speaking at the Campaign Ground, the representatives of key groups, including the Council of Baales, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), League of Imams, Community Development Associations (CDAs), and cultural groups such as the Ndigbo, South-South, North Central and Arewa Communities, also expressed full support for the APA-MATH ticket, promising massive votes in Agbala Ward.

In his address, Hon. Apanishile expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering people-centered, transparent and progressive governance.
He urged residents to come out in large numbers to vote for APC, pledging that their trust would be rewarded with visible and positive change.
The campaign team thereafter proceeded to Ward E2, where they were warmly received by ward E2 campaign DG Hon. Babayemisi Kehinde Fakunmoju, party leaders, CDAs, religious leaders, market women, youth, and ethnic community representatives.

Speaking on behalf of the Council of Baales, Chief Alade Olukoga called on the incoming administration to recognize and empower traditional leaders with more roles and responsibilities. Various speakers echoed their support for the APC, reaffirming their commitment to securing victory at the polls.
Apanishile, in is remarks reiterated his promise to run an inclusive administration where all stakeholders, traditional institutions, youth, women, and community groups will have a voice.

He urged the party faithful to intensify their efforts through house-to-house mobilization.
This Ward-to-Ward Campaign is scheduled to continue over the coming days as the APA-MATH team remains focused on its mission to reach every corner of Ikorodu North LCDA, ensuring no community is left behind in the journey towards progress and development.
The campaign team had on Tuesday visited Odo – Nla community and also met with market women, youths in Ikorodu North LCDA under the aegis of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and the Nigerian Association of Persons Living With Disabilities (NAPWPD).

Also included in the entourage were the pioneer chairmen of Ikorodu North LCDA Hon.Kunle Ogunbela, Hon.Olasunkanmi Tijani, Mrs.Toyin Salau, Pastor Abiodun Iyiola, Dr.Oladunni, Prince Niran Ogunbanwo, Hon.Mrs.Shoaga, Hon.Sulaimon Adewusi, Hon.Shukurat Adewumi-Okeowo, Hon.Aro Balogun, Hon.Basirat Adewumi.
Others were; Hon.Adekoya, Hon.Niran Wake-Up Adeyemi, Hon.Sheriff, Hon.Bilikis Aderoju, Hon.Bola Daramola, Hon.Idris Liasu, Hon.Bose Benson, Hon.Riskat Ibrahim, Hon.Oluwaseyi Onobajo, Babatunde Banjoko.
