The Achievers’ Crew has mourned the passage of the Baba Ijo of the United African Methodist Church Cathedral, Igbogbo, Elder (Chief ) Abayomi Oyebola Okusanya.
The late revered community leader is the father of Arch. Tunde Okusanya, a prominent member of the group.
In a statement by the General Secretary, Board of Trustees (BOT), Achievers’ Crew, Mr Olabode Oyesanya, the group said that the late Baba Ijo lived a fulfilled life.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the passing of your beloved father, Elder Chief Abayomi Okusanya.
“We give thanks to Almighty God for a life well-lived and the legacy he left behind”, the statement said.
The crew, while consoling the Okusanya family on the demise of their patriarch, also prayed for the repose of the late Elder Okusanya’s soul.
“During this time of profound loss, our thoughts are with you and your loved ones. May you find comfort in the cherished memories of your father and the love and support of those around you.
“We pray that his gentle soul rests in eternal peace and that you are granted strength and solace in the days ahead”.
