The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has congratulated the former Principal of Lagos State University (LASU) International School, Ojo, Mr Taiwo Odumbo, on his assumption of office as the Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority, Ikorodu Local Government.
Odumbo, an educationist and human resource professional, resumed office on Wednesday.
In a statement, Rep. Benson described the appointment as a well – deserved one, adding that the new ES has proven himself to be a worthy administrator.

“Today, I join the good people of Ikorodu to heartily congratulate and celebrate one of our finest and most dependable sons, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, on his well-deserved appointment, confirmation, and swearing-in as the Education Secretary of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu Local Government Area.
“This appointment is a clear testament to your unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the advancement of quality education in Lagos State – and Ikorodu Division in particular.

“Over the years, you have proven yourself to be an administrator of uncommon excellence. As the pioneer Principal of the LASU International School, Ojo, you demonstrated brilliance, capacity, and purpose-driven leadership that left indelible marks. Your record of achievements remains a source of pride – not only to LASU, but to our entire Division,”, the lawmaker said.
He said that the new office will afford the educationist to prove himself worthy once again, and make a landmark contribution to the educational development in Ikorodu.
“This new assignment is yet another opportunity to deepen your legacy of service and contribute meaningfully to the growth and transformation of basic education in our dear constituency.

“I am immensely proud of this milestone and confident that you will, as always, exceed expectations.
“May Almighty God guide and strengthen you to excel beyond past successes. May He bless you with sound health, long life, and the grace to keep shining in even more tasking and higher responsibilities”, he said.
