Mrs Opemipo Faniyi Hamzat, a former Councillorship aspirant for Ward C1, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has donated campaign materials towards the actualization of the LCDA chairmanship aspiration of Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) as the next Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate personally received the items which included campaign banners and branded Fez caps, when Mrs Hamzat led her team for the presentation at Car Wash, behind the PHCN office in Igbogbo.

The donor stressed that she is supporting the candidate because she believes in his capacity to deliver his promises.
“This is HOA. This is the man that believes in the youths and he is progressive in all ways. This is a man that believes in everything that I believe in.
“I know that when he becomes the Chairman of our dear council, he is going to surprise us with laudable developments and achievements and I so much believe, and I have no doubt that he’s going to deliver on his promises to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA people.

“He is the right man for the job. I know that he has his own road map and I have no doubt that he is capable of executing it and giving the electorate good governance,” the donor enthused.
While appealing to other aspirants on the need to embrace the chairmanship candidate, she also called on the people in the council to participate actively in the July 12 elections.
“I urge other aspirants to come forward and support HOA to emerge as our next Chairman so that he can lead our dear LCDA to a greater height.

“I also want to appeal to the electorate in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA to come out en masse on July 12 and vote for the APC Chairmanship candidate as the next council chairman,“ she said.
Aroyewun, accepting the campaign materials, thanked the former aspirant and her team for their support.
He said that the donated items will go a long way in complementing what is available for the campaign.

The APC candidate assured Mrs Hamzat that his administration will not disappoint her and her team in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
Aroyewun charged them not to relent in supporting the party by continuing to canvass for votes for its Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates.
