When governments pursue socioeconomic prosperity, the place of good roads and quality public infrastructures in the dynamics is often not elaborated. Good roads and quality public infrastructures contribute to our drive for prosperity, safety, wellness and connectivity. In particular, good roads boost trade and commerce, ease access to schools, workplaces, healthcare service outlets, etc., eliminate traffic and environmental hazards, aid tourism, and act as source of job opportunities. We thank our executives and legislators at all levels for the renewed attention on these crucial public goods in IBLCDA.
Similarly, youth and sports development is key for improving the outlook of individuals and communities in IBLCDA. It is therefore important to consolidate all accomplishments in this regard and bring innovative ideas to further catalyse this key governance endeavour in IBLCDA. We will upscale investment in young people and sports for all ages. More so, we will leverage on collaboration and the goodwill of our leaders and all people to push the envelope of development.
