The National Youth Council (NYCN),Ikorodu West Local Branch during the week organized a free medical outreach during which a large number of residents were provided medical services.
The outreach which was the second edition was organized in conjunction with General Hospital, Ikorodu, took place at Shakira Oyekan CDA AJAGURO, Alasalatu Agbaye, Agric, Isawo Road in Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The initiative of the youth group, led by Comrade Taiwo Anuoluwapo as its Coordinator, provided services such as blood pressure checks, HIV testing, medical consultations, and genotype testing.
The NYCN coordinator expressed happiness at the positive response from the community, adding that the outreach demonstrated the council’s commitment to promoting health awareness and providing accessible medical care to the people of Ikorodu West.
He said that the NYCN local Branch looks forward to continuing its efforts to improve the well-being of the community through initiatives like the Free Medical Outreach programme.
