“Well, this time around IKODASS has become a household name for anybody who is a member of the Excos, and whoever that is not ready to work should just pack and go, because we cannot afford not to deliver. You can see what our predecessors have done. They have done a very good work, and we need to complement and consolidate on that.

The outgone IKODASS Chairman, Asiwaju Rotimi Erogbogbo, said that IKODASS has attained a great height and turned into a pride for Ikorodu people.

“On the outcome of the election, I can say that the Ikorodu -Oga Development Association is growing, and people can learn from us. There is no point going from one corner to the other causing trouble, once you can canvas for votes and you see that your opponent is also a good choice.
“There are rooms for consensus and agreement for some people to go and that is what a lot of people did today (Saturday) by stepping down. A lot of people did not even aspire for any position because they know that the person who is there is capable.
“What we see here today is peaceful and well -organised. It is better than any other election in the history of Ikorodu -Oga,” Asiwaju Erogbogbo said.
Speaking on his expectations, he charged the new administration on the need to take IKODASS to a greater height.

“The outgoing administration is not boasting, but we have done our best, but the incoming administration will complement what we have done and I hope that they will do better.”
Asiwaju Rotimi Erogbogbo exhorted, “We expect them to do times ten of what we have done. That is when we can say we have truly laid a sound foundation that can push Ikorodu -Oga Development Association forward.”
