The outgoing chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ikorodu Local Government, Comrade Oluwafemi Fakolade has been promoted to Level 17 as a Director of Education by the Lagos State Government.
He earned the promotion on Wednesday as the outgoing Tutor – General/Permanent Secretary, Education District II, Mrs Adenike Adekanye, presented him his promotional letter.
Fakolade who announced his promotion on his Facebook handle today, said that he joined the teaching commission as Level 7 (Master Grade 111):
“Wednesday, the 2nd of April 2025,I received my promotion letter with all sense of humility and grateful heart.
“From level 7(Master Grd 111) to Level 17(Director of Education), it can only be God.
“To God be the glory, I am officially a DIRECTOR.
“It can only be God.”
