My Administration Remains Steadfast In Promoting Inclusiveness, Empowerment, Social Justice For Women, Girls – Ijede Council Boss

The administration of Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo -Alogba, the Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) had assured women in the council that she’s committed to the execution of initiatives and policies that promote inclusivity, empowerment and justice for women and girls.

Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba is the only women council boss out of the six in Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

In a statement today commemorating the 2025 International Women’s Day, the young council boss, celebrated women in Ijede for their resilience.

“Happy International Women’s Day to the outstanding women of Ijede LCDA.

“Today, I celebrate your strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions to our community and nation at large.

“This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action,’’ calls for a renewed commitment to advancing gender equality, empowering all women and girls, and driving meaningful progress.

“As a society, we must continue to break barriers and create opportunities and avenues where every woman and girl can amplify their voices.

‘As a government, we remain steadfast in implementing policies and initiatives that promote inclusivity, empowerment, and social justice for all women and girls.

“Together, let’s accelerate change for a more inclusive society,” she said
