Wale Jagun

The Ibesheland in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, welcomed array of royal fathers, elected and appointed political office holders, political leaders, government functionaries and a host of other eminent personalities as the former Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State, Asiwaju Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya, and wife, Olukemi, were installed as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of lbesheland, by His Royal Majesty, Oba Richard Abayomi Ogunsanya, the Olubeshe of Ibesheland.
The installation of the couple for the prestigious titles, took place at the Ibeshe Ferry Terminal in lbeshe community.

Other royal fathers that joined the Olubeshe of Ibesheland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Richard Abayomi Ogunsanya, Bisoro 1, at the memorable installation ceremony were His Royal Majesties, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Oba AbdulHakeem Adeoriyomi Oyebo, the Obateru of Egbin Kingdom, and Oba Ganiyu Aderibigbe, the Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu Kingdom among many other traditional rulers and chiefs.

Also in attendance were Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, the Senator representing Lagos East and wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member House of Representatives and wife, Mrs Jumoke Benson, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, a chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor, Lagos State, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Dr. Nurudeen Agbaje, Special Adviser on Rural Development, on. Kolawole Taiwo, former Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, Chairman, Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA, Dr. Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, Special Adviser to Senator Abiru on Constituency Matters, Otunba Fatai Olukoga, former Special Adviser on Education, Lagos State, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local government.
