‘KÓLÙJÓ’, a political team pushing for the emergence of Comrade Japheth Abolade Odesanya as the next Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, is not leaving any stone unturned as the movement continued its strategic visitations and consultations.
The latest of these consultations was the visit to the leadership of The Mandate Movement (TMM) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the Watercress Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday.

In attendance at the august visitation were party leaders of great pedigree like the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, APC chieftain, Cardinal Odunmbaku (Baba Eto), Chief of Staff to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, General Manager, Lagos Printing Press, Mr. Peregrino, Managing Director/ CEO, LagFerry, Mr. Ladi Balogun, among others.
In a statement by Kayode Alabi, Esq., Head, Kólùjó Press Directorate, he said that the symbol of the movement submissively engaged with the leadership of the echelon of the group that occupies strategic positions within the ruling party.

“The Kólùjó symbol, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, has sought to submissively give respect to whom it’s due, and was granted the honour to formally intimate the TMM leadership on his political aspiration”, the statement said.
Speaking with Comrade Odesanya who is an old political soldier, he said that it was a warm welcome for himself and his team by the leadership of TMM, a strategic unit of his party, APC.
“It was a visitation to the party hierarchy in Lagos State and the group that I belong to. I belong to the Mandate Group”, he said.

“It was a consultation to tell my leaders that I am running for the Chairmanship of Ikorodu Local Government. It was a very strategic meeting”.
Meanwhile, support for the ‘KÓLÙJÓ’ team and his symbol, has continued on upward trend as another major stakeholder donated sets of campaign banners, a gesture that the team expressed its appreciation.
“Just yesterday, the team, again, gracefully received from a now familiar name & staunch supporter of the Kólùjó cause from Ward G, Mr. Shola Olawoore, CEO, Ground Built Construction Company, a very handsome number of flex banners in his unceasing propagation of the project”, the statement said.

“We are overwhelmed at Kólùjó at this very crucial period, as it couldn’t have been any better, for which our heartfelt gratitude shall be eternal to the TMM leadership for their warmth and assurance, & our pillar of support from Ward G for his unflinching confidence & commitment to our ambition. We assure you of a sound delivery of this mandate. WE ARE VERY THANKFUL! “
