Seniors Wellbeing Foundation Engages Ikorodu Elders In Fitness, Medical Outreach

Plans have been concluded by the Seniors Wellbeing Foundation, an organisation with focus on taking care of senior citizens in the society, to once again engage them in recreational activities and medical outreach.

The 2 – Day event, which will hold at the Ita – Elewa Youth Centre, lkorodu, is slated to hold between 4th and 5th of April, 2024.

According to Princess Aderoju Ladega, the Ikorodu – born and United States of America (USA) based founder of the foundation, the engagement of the senior citizens in the society is primary to the functions of Seniors Wellbeing Foundation.

She said that the group is introducing ‘Aramide Ladega Med – Fit’, in honour of his mother who died last year.

During the two engagements, there will be activities such as fitness session, movie screening, health talk and medical test.

DAY I: RECREATION DAY (for the ELDERLY only)
Recreational activity:

  • Fitness session
    Leisure activity:
  • Movies time
    Health and Wellness Talks

Date: Thursday, April 4th, 2024.
Venue: Ita-Elewa Mini Stadium, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Time: 7 am
Free Refreshments.

DAY II: MEDICAL OUTREACH (for ALL)
Medical doctors and nurses will run a test for

  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension

Date: Friday, April 5th, 2024.
Venue: Ita-elElewa Mini Stadium, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Time: 7 am

*Referral to the hospital.
