The first phase of the initiative came up on Tuesday, with 150 beneficiaries across the Ward C, B and D getting N20, 000, only while one resident was presented with a motorbike for his loyalty and support for the Council Chairman and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The economic support initiative wass tagged, ‘S.K.O. Empowerment Initiative: Cash Assistance Programme’.

Speaking at the presentation, Hon. Sulaimon assured the people that his administration has the interest of the people at heart, and that he would continue to put smiles on their faces.

“Today, I am here to extend this same initiative gesture to the selected residents of Ward A and B as part of my resilience and commitment to transform 250 households as a way of giving back to my own very people of Ikorodu West LCDA”, Hon. Sulaimon said.
