Shokunbi Nurudeen Ebuoso, a Councillorship aspirant for Ward E (Aga/Ijomu) in Ikorodu Local Government Area, has provided free medical care for 150 residents as part of his response to the yearnings of his people.

At the outreach program held at the open space beside the now defunct Oriwu Merchant Hotels, Ireshe Road, Ikorodu, 150 residents were examined for BP out of which 100 were screened and provided with 100 reading glasses.

The medical outreach was organized in conjunction with Alhaja Shakirat Enifeni Foundation.

The young politician, speaking with THE IMPACT, said that the medical programme was staged because health is paramount and that the turnout justified the fact that people really need good medical attentions.

While stating that there are other intervention programmes lined up for the residents of his Ward, Ebuoso also said that he would be pursuing medical care for the people if elected into office.

“I thank people in my ward for coming. I wasn’t really expecting this large turnout, but this has shown that people are really in need of medical care, and this is one of the programmes that I will focus on when elected to represent my people”, he said.
