More people, on Thursday, benefitted from the food distribution at the ongoing Christ Compassion to the Rural Areas (CCRW) crusade at the Igbogbo Stadium in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

Food distribution to hundreds of residents at the 6 – day crusade, started on Tuesday, with thousands benefitting so far.

Items distributed include rice, beans, garri, sugar, groundnut oil, salt and soap.

When our reporter visited the crusade ground earlier today, it was very challenging to get access to the stadium because of the large number of people outside the stadium trying to gain entrance while hundreds of people were also inside.

Many were also seen with buckets, sacks and nylon filled with food and other items doled out by the Church.

Speaking with some of the beneficiaries, they commended Christ Compassion to the Rural Areas (CCRW) for not only evangelizing, but also coming to Igbogbo to support people with food items which they said will go a long way in cushioning the effects of the harsh economic challenges that Nigerians are going through.

Meanwhile, the evening congregation for the evangelism also continued with large audience joining Pastor Ashimolowo and other men of God, for the special prayer session.
