Oriwu College Wins 2023 Cancer Competition

Master Bada Abdusalam, a student of the Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Cancer Awareness.

The competition, which is being organized by Atinuke Cancer Foundation, accommodates secondary schools in both Lagos and Ogun states.

In a statement today, the foremost model school thanked the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu, for the support that his administration has been rendering to the school.

Also acknowledged were the Tutor – General/Permanent Secretary, Education District II, Mrs Anike Adekanye and former Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo.

“Glory be to God Almighty as Bada Abdulsalam of Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, emerged as the winner of the 2023 cancer awareness competition organized by Atinuke Cancer Foundation, for secondary schools in Lagos State and Ogun State”, the statement stated.

“Special appreciation goes to Mr Governor, Babajide Olusola Sawo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo, and the game changer, Mrs Anike Adekanye, TG/PS, Education District Il, for providing the enabling environment for teaching and learning in Lagos state.

“Congratulations to Education District ll and Team Oriwu”.
