2023 Guber/Assembly Elections: APC Wining All The Way – Sen Ogunlewe

The former Minister for Works and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Otunba (Sen) Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, has stated that his party will win the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Lagos.

Ogunlewe, who voted at polling unit 010, Oreta/Offin/Bayeku Road in Igbogbo, also described the election as peaceful and orderly.

The chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), who expressed his expectations from the election, spoke with THE IMPACT after casting his vote

“It is victory, APC all the way. We have worked hard for it. We have not slept for a week now. There will be no surprise again. Never will there be again. We are ready”, Sen. Ogunlewe said.

“The election is very peaceful, and conducted in a very nice atmosphere. You can see the weather and we thank God for it. We thank God for the people who are very enthusiastic to vote. We can see the friendship going around voters irrespective of the party they belong to.

“The turnout is very high. We have been here since morning and everything went peacefully”, he said.

Senator Ogunlewe, particularly, commended the turnout of the youth for the election.

“The youths are trooping out to participate and we thank them for being very peaceful. The youth council members are here. I have been going round to see that they are peace”, he said.
