Presidential Poll: Ward Youths Rally In Support of Asiwaju Tinubu, Other APC Candidates In Ikorodu

Youths in Ward E, Ikorodu Local Government, on Thursday, embarked on a rally to mobilize support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the Saturday election.

They also called on residents to support other candidates on the platform of the APC, during the February 25th and March 11th general elections.

The sensitization and mobilization rally, which kicked – off from Pashokun Street, went through Ireshe road, Oriwu road, Gbasemo, Adaraloye, Igbamitayo, Alashe, Odugate, Borokini, Alamala, and other areas of the ward.

Convener of the rally, Balogun O. Abbey, a former Councillorship aspirant in the ward, stressed that it became imperative to use the rally as a medium to mobilise the electorates and aggrieved voters to come out on Saturday to vote for APC.

He charged Ikorodu residents to vote for the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu whom he said is the most qualified of all the candidates vying for the number one position in the country.

Balogun also said that the rally was also used to sensitize the populace on how voting would be done using the BVAS.

APC Chairman, Ward E, Adebayo Abiodun also said that the last campaign day dally was necessary in view of the challenging time when Nigerians are facing difficulties in finding naira and fuel.

He said that through the rally, they have been able to sensitise the populace that coming out to vote for Tinubu and other APC candidates is the best way to set Nigeria on a path to development.

Over 100 party members and residents in the ward joined the campaign train as they moved from street to street, canvassing for votes.
