Dr Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Governor of Lagos, acknowledging cheers from boat riders at the regatta organised by the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Youth Professional Support Group (BOSYOPS) to mobilise support for the re – election of Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu and the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
As part of its campaign strategy to mobilized massive votes for the re – election of the governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo – Olu and his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Youth Professional Support Group (BOSYOPS) on Sunday staged a colourful Boat Regatta at Ojo Local Government.
It was also an opportunity for the group, to canvass for support for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming general elections.
Over hundred boats participated in the boat regatta organised by the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Youth Professional Support Group (BOSYOPS) to mobilise support for the re – election of Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu and the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.Ms. Abisola Olusanya, Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and the Lead Coordinator, BOSYOPS introducing Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat to traditional rulers, chiefs and other chieftains in Ojo, on the arrival of the Deputy Governor for the boat regatta on Sunday.
At the regatta attended by the Deputy Governor, Dr Hamzat, are the Commissioner for Agriculture who is also the Lead Coordinator, BOSYOPS, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Robert and other state executive council members, council chairmen and other chieftains.
Also, BOSYOPS Chairman, Prince S.J. Samuel, traditional rulers, chiefs, community leaders and thousands of Ojo residents.
