African Church Celebrates Sen. Adeseye Ogunlewe At 79

The seat of the Bishop of the African Church Lagos Missionary Diocese, The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Aga, Ikorodu, has celebrated with a chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council and the former Minister for Works, Sen. (Otunba) Dr. Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, on his birthday anniversary.

Sen. Ogunlewe clocked 79 years old on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, with eminent individuals, various groups and associates felicitating the elder statesman.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, and signed by Oluwaseyi A. Adelabu (Secretary, Cathedral Council), Engr. Sunday A. Oshin (Cathedral Warden) and The Rt. Revd. Hezekiah A. Adetoro (Chairman, Cathedral Council), the Church acknowledged the impacts of the grassroots politician on the Church, Ikorodu Division, Lagos and the country in general.

“The entire membership of The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Ikorodu, celebrates an elder statesman, retired Permanent Secretary, a former Federal Minister, Member-Governance Advisory Council, Lagos State, and the Chairman, lkorodu Division Resource Group (IDRDG) and Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board, Sen. Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, on his birthday anniversary”, the statement said.

“We want to take your birthday as an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate your contributions, hard work, services, and dedication to the Church, Ikorodu, Lagos, and Nigeria as a whole, over the years.

“Your wealth of experience has impacted society in so many ways. We are so grateful to you. May your special day be filled with all the good things that you deserve.

“May joy, great surprises, love, happiness, and good health surround you on your special day and years ahead”, the African Church prayed for Senator Ogunlewe.

“Happy birthday to the Field Marshal”, the statement added.
