Chieftains of various transport unions in Ikorodu on Monday gathered at the Ayangbure palace to pay homage and observe their own day as part of the activities marking the annual Ikorodu – Oga Day Celebrations.

The week – long carnival started on Saturday.

The day earmarked for the transport union is tagged, ‘Transporters Colloquium and Fanfare’, always presenting the community the opportunity to interface with the stakeholders in the very important sector.

At the fanfare, Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo commended the transporters for their contributions to the social and economic developments of Ikorodu.

He charged them to always operate and conduct their affairs within the laws.
