The Action Alliance (AA) candidate for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Idowu Olaiwola Adeleke has charged electorate in Ikorodu to vote for his party as a better alternative.

Idowu, who was elated by the confirmation of his name in the final list of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said that people should stop clamouring for positive change but should use the coming general elections to vote for the change that they desired by voting for him.

The AA Assembly candidate spoke with THE IMPACT on Thursday, on his clearance by INEC.

“The coming election will be an unprecedented one and first of its kind, because people are clamouring for positive change from the present administration and they also don’t want to go back to the main opposition party, rather, they want all-inclusiveness and a new party that have good structure and that will make the well – being of people its priority, which I know Action Alliance stands for and which we promotes through our slogan; “Let The Masses Live”, he said.

While stating that he and his party are credible alternatives, ldowu said that his antecedents stand him out among his opponents.

“Yes, the electorate in Ikorodu Constituency 1 are humans and not robots, they know what they want for themselves and the generations to come. My score card is excellent when it comes to creativity, proactivity, incorruptibility and futuristic. These are my antecedents. This is the right time to make a change for a better alternative party which is Action Alliance”, he said.

The Ikorodu-born politician and teacher said that his lawmaking duty will be focusing on Human Capital Development by ensuring that the state fund is invested more on technical education.

“I will be focusing on how to promote a bill that will majorly concentrate on human capital development by ensuring that over 35% percent of the Lagos State Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) is invested on technical education so that we can encourage production on a large scale and be exporting to states. This would make the state a producing one and individual involved self – reliance. We will be pushing for the adoption of the ideas of the Asian Tigers among many other initiatives that we will be proposing through the legislature”.
