Comrade Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, new President, Igbogbo Youth Coalition
Comrade Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, the elected President of the Igbogbo Youth Congress (IYC), and his team will, on Monday, October 3, 2022, effectively take charge of the umbrella body of the entire youths in Igbogbo Kingdom, as the administration of Mr Gbenga Odunniyi comes to an end.
Ogunmuyiwa emerged the President – elect with 49 votes at the IYC Congress held at the Adeboruwa palace on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
In a release signed by Aliu Mubarak Adekunle, Public Relations Officer elect, the inauguration ceremony is themed, “Youth Emancipation: The Recipe For Community Transformation” with Prince Waheed A. Kasali, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Special Adviser on Education and Hon. Sheriff Adekoya as the Spesker and Keynote Speaker respectively.

The inauguration of the new excos is slated to hold today at the Rotary Vocational Centre, Igbogbo, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.
Also to be inaugurated are Odumuiywa Adewale Adeyinka (Vice President 1), Oluwadamilola Abisola Edward (Vice President 2) and Senator Comfort Olafare as the General Secretary.
Other officers elected are: Adeleke Aroyewun (Legal Adviser), Obayomi Tunde Orekoya (Assistant General Secretary), William Odunayo Iwapele (Treasurer), Toyib Aina Oke (Financial Secretary), Aliu Mubarak Adekunle ()Public Relations Officer) and Ipaye Olawale Taofeek (Project Coordinator 1) and Awosanya Yusuf Olatunji (Project Coordinator 2).
The release stated that the new excos is set to set new records and start a new era while calling on the entire Igbogbo community to support the new administration.
“To every end, there’s a beginning and to every beginning, comes an end”, the incoming image maker said.
“Igbogbo Youth Coalition is here to set a new record from the existing ones. Igbogbo Youth Coalition is here to start a new era.
“Igbogbo Youth Coalition is here to start a new beginning. Just as a tree cannot make a forest, a new beginning cannot be made possible without us coming together as one, in unity and progress”.
