Senator Abiru Innovation Lab Opens Application For Teachers Fellowship

The Senator Abiru Innovation Lab (SAIL) has opened registration for teachers, in both public and private schools, across the Lagos East Senatorial District to apply for the Lagos East Teachers Fellowship (Cohort 2).

SAIL Fellowship Programme was designed to equip educators with new skills that would lead to better learning outcomes.

In a statement by the Senator’s media aide, Mr Enitan Olukotun, it is also said that the programme is for teachers who are interested in inquiry-based learning, and want to use technology in their classrooms to the benefit of their students

He said that the Certificate being issued after the programme has the endorsement of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in Ogun State.

SAIL, an initiative of the Tokunbo Abiru Constituency Team (TACT) Foundation, is a dedicated innovation and tech lab that is providing relevant technology, business and digital skills to teach enthusiasts and young entrepreneurs across the Lagos East Senatorial District.

It would be recalled that teachers who had successfully undergone the training had their graduation last month (July 29)  which was witnessed by top government functionaries which included the Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Innovation and Technology, Mr Olatunbosun Alake and Tutor Generals from District 2 and 3 among other dignitaries.
