Ikorodu Town Hall Board Congratulates Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara On Her Emergence As APC Candidate For Kosofe Fed Constituency

Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara, APC candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency

The Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board (ITHMB), under the Chairmanship of Sen. Adeseye Kingsley Ogunlewe, former Minister for Works, has congratulated Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara on her emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency.

Alhaja Ogbara had in May emerged as the candidate at the primary election of the APC chaired by Mr Faud Oki, who returned her as winner having scored 44 votes at the election that took place at the Ikosi – Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in May.

She is a former Commissioner, Lagos State Audit Service Commission and a member of the Ikorodu Town Management Board.

The congratulatory message was communicated to her by Prince (Barr.) Rotimi Ogunleye, former Commissioner for Physical Planning & Urban Development who is the Board Secretary, at the last meeting of the ITHMB, held on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

“On behalf of the Town hall board, I congratulate Mrs Kafilat Ogbara for her emergence as the APC House of Representatives candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency after her victory from the fierce primary election”, he said.

“We wish you a success in the forthcoming general elections so that you can be able to deliver on your promises to your people that entrusted you with their mandate”.

He further charged her to ensure that she did everything with her position when elected to facilitate development to her constituency.

Barr. Ogunleye, who is also the General Secretary of the Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG), also charged Alhaja Ogbara to ensure that she continue to discharge her responsibilities to the ITHMB after her election.

Alhaja Ogbara, in her brief statement, thanked the Chairman and entire members of the board for the opportunity to serve and for congratulating her on her emergence as the APC candidate in Kosofe.

She pledged not to disappoint her constituents and members of the board when elected.
