iCare Foundation Supports Another 500 Families With Food Items

There is no stopping for the iCare Foundation, the operational team for Rep. Babajimi Benson, the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Abuja, in its monthly food package distribution, as another set of 500 constituents received ratio for the month of June.

The FoodBank program which has been on for …years, has been making food items and provisions such as rice, beans, garlic, milk, semovita, beverage and groundnut oil among others, available to vulnerable Constituents on monthly basis nonstop, since the emergence of Rep. Benson as the representative of the lkorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja.

The iCare FoodBank has initiated numerous people-oriented programmes that have helped in no small measure in making Rep. Benson the darling of his constituents.

Many of the beneficiaries were usually nominated by political leaders, LGA and Ward Excos of the All Progressives Congress (APC, religious leaders and market leaders among others.

Other beneficiaries are selected through nominations from the general public.

The food support has been a great intervention measure that has benefited many who are less privileged.

Some of the beneficiaries that spoke with our reporter expressed their joy at the consistency of food support.

On their part, guests at the distribution commended the lawmaker for sustaining the initiative which they said has been providing succor to many residents.
