New Entrant, Aro Emerges Ijede’s Choice For 2023 Assembly Seat

A new entrant into the race to represent the Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Aro Moshood Abiodun, popularly called, ‘AMA’ has emerged as the winner of the shadow election held on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

The election which held ijede LCDA was conducted to pick a consensus aspirant that will confront the incumbent in the All Progressives Primary Congress (APC) election scheduled for later this month.

AMA who came into the race about a week ago polled 22votes.

Hon. Fatiu Salisu, the immediate past Chairman, Ijede LCDA came in second position with 17 votes, while 9 delegates voted for Mr Kunle Matti Alliasau and Mr Oresanya Saheed recorded 2 votes.

Others are Mr Hameed Aroyewun 1 vote, Hon. Hakeem Taoreed, also 1 vote, and Hon. Gbenga Oshin failed to record any vote.
