Fuel scarcity continues as many petrol stations are now shut in Ikorodu because of lack of fuel while there were long queues in others.

Different parts of Lagos have been experiencing fuel challenges since weekend.

When THE IMPACT visited some stations in Ikorodu Local Government, Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area and Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA on Tuesday (yesterday) , many stations were not selling fuel, while queues were gathering in others.

There was a long queue of vehicles early in the morning at Bond filling station along the Igbogbo/Ebute Road and when our reporter later visited in the afternoon, the station was empty because there was no more fuel.

Popular Remdamson fuel station at Ojogbe junction, was without fuel when our reporter visited.

A commercial motorcycle rider, who spoke with THE IMPACT, said that Remdamson filling station has been selling fuel in the past three days.

Also, the Mobil Petrol station beside the F1, was also not selling fuel when our reporter visited in the afternoon, while Malok staff were seen selling fuel to motorists.

There was also long queue at the MALOK filling station along Oba Molaja road, Igbogbo when our reporter visited.
