A new Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has been appointed to take over from Assistant Inspector General of Police Hakeem Odumosu as the Lagos police chief.
The former Lagos CP, Odumosu was recently promoted to the rank of AIG and with the promotion, he was expected to be redeployed from Lagos.
Alabi who until his latest appointment the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police is expected to resume his new posting in Lagos next week.
