“Attention ! Attention !!!

“Save Our Children’s Future in Ikorodu Division…

The number of students dropping out of secondary schools in lkorodu division is alarming.

Please, can our political office holders and our philanthropists help us to look into these situations?

The rate at which students are dropping out of school in Ikorodu Division is alarming and the rate of teens’ crime is increasing.

From reliable sources, the shortage of public schools and the long distance between the homes of the students and the schools, force some of them out of school.

Many parents can not afford the cost of transportation because of inflation caused by COVID-19 lockdown.

For example, there is no public secondary school between Parafa and Ikorodu garage, from ljede to Elepe down to Itamaga, there are only two secondary schools while the whole Odogunyan, Odo’Nla, Odo Kekere, lta – Oluwo, and Lasuwon Laspotech has just one secondary school. Same situation across the division.

There is an urgently need for provision of buses for public schools and establishment of more public schools across Ikorodu Division.
