-As Temitope emerges Ambassador of the year 2021

The social intervention project of Fanafillit Integrated Concepts, GLOWFUX Concert, has again hit a milestone with a successful outing outside Ikorodu for the first time since its inception.

The 2021 edition of the concert took place  at the frontage of Dan & Den Lounge, Elegushi Beachfront, Lekki ,on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

In a statement released today, the Chief Executive Officer, Fanafillit, Mr Olubode Oserinde, said that three orphanage homes from Ikorodu were present at the charity concert and went home with various gift items donated by guests.

“The three orphanage homes present at the event, namely – Hikanos Orphanage Home, Divine Heritage Orphanage Home, Child Lifeline Home, were presented with gifts courtesy various guest donors, Young Ambassadors, JAKIN Initiative, Hands Lifting Hearts and a host of others”.

He also said that six new GLOWFUX Ambassadors were inducted to instill in them the act of giving to others, especially those in need.

“As it has always been, the GLOWFUX Young Ambassadors of the year was introduced and decorated to nurture the heart and act of giving in them”, he said.

“The newly inducted young ambassadors were Ambassador Taiwo Iginla, Ambassador Kehinde Iginla, Ambassador Hillary Adelabu, Ambassador Ibrahim Ibraheem, Ambassador Temitope Williams and Ambassador Temitayo Williams.

According to the release, young Tofunmi Oladoyin emerged as the GLOWFUX Ambassador of the year for her relentless effort in helping others with her family’s help.

“Also witnessed was the GLOWFUX Hall of Charity Awards where individuals and organizations are recognised and awarded for their unrelenting benevolent humanitarian acts to the society.

“At this year’s edition, a new category of award; GLOWFUX Young Ambassador of the year 2021; created to celebrate the most consistent and performing Young Ambassador, went to Ambassador Tofunmi Oladoyin for her unrelenting interest in giving to the society with the help of her family”, he said.

“Since her induction into GLOWFUX Hall of Charity as GLOWFUX Young Ambassador in the year 2018, Amb. Oluwatofunmi Oladoyin has been committed to the gospel of GLOWFUX. Her altruistic self (with the support of her parents) has always been part of the success of the GLOWFUX quarterly outreach which entails quarterly visitation to orphanages with donations of basic needs to the homes.

Awards were also given to GLOWFUX man, woman and NGO of the year 2021 at the concert.

“Prince (Dr.) Chris Abiodun Onus was awarded the GLOWFUX Man of year 2021 while the  Mrs. Morola Olabisi Babalola was awarded GLOWFUX Woman of the year 2021, and JAKIN Initiative bagged the GLOWFUX NGO of the year 2021, for their commitment to humanitarian causes”.

Aside from the cool breezes of the beach, guests were also treated to song renditions by representatives of the orphanage homes.

Children also had great moments with Bouncy Castle, Mini Ferris Wheel as supplied by the decoration and games partners of the event, Headway Events.

The children also participated in various games which added to fun and excitement to the Concert.

At this year’s GLOWFUX Concerts, everyone had their fill of sumptuous meal prepared by Zizzy’s Kitchen as provided through the support of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s BOS Christmas facilitated by Statecraft Inc., while the drink refreshment was provided by SevenUp Bottling Company.

According to the organisers, this year’s edition of GLOWFUX Concert was made possible with the support of His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kushenala III), Hon. Jimi Benson, BOS Christmas and other brands.
