Hon. Buraimoh Oluwakemi, the Councilor representing Ward F in the Legislative Arm of the Ikorodu Local Government, has formally handed over the water project that he facilitated and supervised its construction to the benefitting community.

The project, which was facilitated through the Office of the Majority Leader and the representative of the Ikorodu Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade, was handed over on Saturday, December 11, to the people of Owode – Anibaba in Ikorodu.

Mr. Jeleel Agunbiade, the project manager, was also on ground during the hand-over ceremony.

Addressing his constituents, Hon. Buraimoh said that he approached Hon S.O.B. Agunbiade whom he called his political leader and mentor, for the project when the people made the request and that the project was granted.

“On behalf of my people, I spoke to my boss, mentor and leader – Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, about the need for a borehole for Owode Anibaba C.D.A and today, he kept his promise by completing the project and handed it over to the leadership of the C.D.A”, he recalled.

“I am using this medium to appreciate our Representative for his numerous Constituency projects in Ikorodu Constituency 1 despite not getting any allocated constituency allowance for projects. Thank you sir.

“We can only get it done if we do it right together”, he added.

The Counselor has also announced that grading of roads in his Ward will commence tomorrow (Monday).

He also thanked Hon S O.B. Agunbiade and others for their support towards the project.

He made the announcement regarding the grading of roads while speaking with THE IMPACT today on his programmes for his people.

“This is to inform my constituents that the grading of some roads in my constituency (Ward F, Ikorodu L.G) will commence tomorrow due to logistic delays”, Hon. Buraimoh said.

“The grading will start from Ajasa Lamberu Street to Agunbiade Close and other roads within the ward.

“My appreciation goes to my boss, mentor and leader – Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, for his immense support, Alhaji Idris Aromasodun (N-Tab), Doctor Agboola of Dele Hospital and Ajayi Oronti C.D.A.

“Thank you all for your continuous support”.

Meanwhile, commendations have continued to trail the representation activities of Councilor Buraimoh who has been responding to the yearnings of his people since his election about four months ago.

Prince Ibrahim Alani Onibudo, an Ikorodu born youth leader based in Canada, speaking on the performance of the Councilor, said:

“Sir, in the last few months, you have handled few projects that are meaningful and useful to the people.

“In my own opinion, that is an excellent approach. If you continue with this stride for a whole year, there would be so many projects on ground to the benefit of the people. Please, do not relent in doing so much more sir. May God continue to be your guide and your protection. Amin”.

Engr. Lekan Obasanmi, also commenting, said:

“We give thank to God and  to our Amiable Honourable S.O.B. Agunbiade, Majority Leader of Lagos State House of Assembly, and our honourable Councillor, Hon. Kemi Buraimoh, for his good work, he’s so different”.

“On behalf of my community, I, Engineer Olamilekan Obasanmi, CDA Chairman of Owode Sholafun, say a very big thanks to Hon S.O.B. Agunbiade, Majority Leader of Lagos State House of Assembly, and Honourable Kemi Buraimoh. Success is all yours”.

Former Council Leader, Ikorodu LG, who represented Ward F twice, Hon. Azeez Jimoh Olousgbo, also commenting, said:

“Thank you for holding forth. Thanks for making a statement with your dedication to service. Thank you for proving some of us right of your nomination. Now, you make me a happy man as a good successor. Putting a round peg in a round hole is a virtue. Much love brother mi”, he said
