Lagos Commences Registration For Eko Digital Program, Closes September 30

The registration for the Eko Digital Program aimed at empowering youths and young students in Primary and Secondary Schools in Lagos State in different courses in digital skills, has commenced.

The registration for the program is free and closes September 30, 2021.

Eko Digital is a program facilitated by the Lagos State Government through the office of the Special Adviser on Education in Collaboration with Advent Management Solution and Loftyinc Allied Partners Limited.

Courses available for interested candidates are Entrepreneurship, Cyber Security Essentials, IoT(Internet of Things), Linux Essentials, CCNA v7 (Networking), Python, Cloud Computing and Virtualization

According to information available on the Eko Digital site:

“Hybrid is aimed at empowering Lagosians between the ages of 18 and above . It is designed to capture the numerous out of school young population into a training and education curriculum which is designed to equip them with knowledge, skills, and know-how that would enable them to thrive in the technology space and entrepreneurship which will enable them to get a certificate to access jobs.

The candidates putting in for the courses can learn any of these courses at the comfort of their homes (online) or at any of the nine centres provided by Lagos State government.

The centres are Lagos State Public Library, Epe, Lagos State Youth Centre, Abesan – Ipaja,  Lagos State Public Library, Meiran, Lagos State, Youth Centre, Onikan, Lagos, State Public Library, Isolo, Lagos State Public Library, Ilupeju, Lagos State Public Library, Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, and Tech Quest, Ebutte Metta.

The centre for candidates in Ikorodu is the Rotary Centre, along Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Road, Igbogbo.
