Eid – El – Kabir: Adeboruwa, Govt, Party Chieftains Observe Prayer In Igbogbo

His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Mr Kasali Adeniran Waheed, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Special Adviser Education, other dignitaries and Muslim faithful observing the 2021 Eid – El – Kabir prayer at the Igbogbo Central Mosque, Igbogbo on Tuesday.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo today observed the Eid – El – Kabir prayer alongside many of his chiefs, government functionaries and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo today.

The Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Alhaji Andu led Muslin faithful to pray at the Igbogbo Central Mosque, Odofin Street, Igbogbo, instead of the HOMAT open praying ground.

Our reporter gathered that the recourse to the Central Mosque was due to the weather condition.

The Chief Imam, Alhaji Andu arrived at the Igbogbo Central Mosque at 9.13am, while the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo arrived at the Mosque with security patrol at 9.16am.

The special Eid – El – Kabir prayer began at 9.25am and at 9.57am, the Chief Imam stepped out of the Mosque to slaughter a ram in obedience to the directive of God.

Also joining Oba Kasali in observing prayer at the Igbogbo Central Mosque are Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, APC Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr KASALI, Adeniran Waheed, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Special Adviser Education, Alhaji Abubakri Hasbunalahi, a Director with the Lagos State Government among other.

A Commissioner nominee and prominent youth leader in Igbogbo, Mr Hameed Aroyewun and family also observed the 2021 Eid – El – Kabir at the Igbogbo Central Mosque.
