Igbogbo Beach Team Set To Kick – Off NBS League Third Round Today Against Edo

The final quest of the Igbogbo Beach Soccer Club (IBSC) to get to the Super League of the Beach Soccer League which will accommodate four out of the eight participating teams in the National Beach Soccer League begins today.

IBSC, which is participating for the first time in the league, is eyeing the second position in Group B playing at the Ahman Patigi University, Kwara State.

IBSC, also called Adeboruwa Boys, will host Edo BSC in their first match by 5pm today.

On Saturday, June 26, IBSC will play away to another Lagos team, Smart City BSC. The match is scheduled for 4.00pm.

The team will play its third and final match as host at 4.00pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021, against a leading beach soccer club in Nigeria, KADA BSC (Kaduna).

Meanwhile, the Adeboruwa Boys, ahead of its NBSL Round 3 engagement, has unveiled another set of lovely army green jerseys.

Kebbi BSC is topping the Group A table after 6 games with 15 points while Badagry United are second with 9 points.

Kwara BSC and Anambra BSC are third and fourth on the league table with 8 and 3 points respectively.

In Group B, KADA BSC is comfortably on top of the league table with 18 points, while SmartCity BSC is second with 9 points.

Igbogbo BSC is closely following Smart City in third position with 8 points, while Edo HCF BSC at the bottom of the league table with no point.

The new jerseys were unveiled on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at their final training session before departing for Patigi, Kwara State.

Mrs. Toyin Oluwa (Nee Dankuwo) donated the jerseys to the team to boost the morale of the players and gear them up in their quest to make the final four teams that will be playing in the Super League of the Beach Soccer League.

Day1: 25/6/2021

1,Anambra BSC vs Kwara BSC (2pm).

2. Badagry Utd vs Kebbi BSC (3pm).

3. Kada BSC vs Smart City (4pm).

4. Igbogbo BSC vs Edo BSC (5pm).

Day 2: 26/6/2021

1. Kebbi BSC vs Anambra BSC ( 2pm).

2. Edo BSC vs Kada BSC. 3pm

3. Smart City vs Igbogbo BSC (4pm).

Kwara BSC vs Badagry Utd (5pm)

DAY 3: 27/6/2021

1. Anambra BSC vs Badagry Utd (2pm).

2. Smart City vs Edo BSC (3pm)

3. Igbogbo BSC vs Kada BSC (4pm).

4. Kwara BSC vs Kebbi BSC (5pm).
