Photos: Eweye, Odofin Ikorodu Inducted Into State Council

HRM Oba Aremu Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos and HRM Oba Kabir Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, inducting Oba Raji Balogun, the Eweye of Isiwu and another traditional at the monthly meeting of he Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs on Thursday.

The Eweye of Isiwu, His Royal Majesty,Oba Raji Balogun, and the Odofin of Ikorodu Kingdom, High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, were among the traditional rulers and chiefs that were inducted into the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

The event was held at the the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.

High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, the Odofin of Ikorodu Kingdom standing before the royal fathers during his induction into the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs on Thursday.

Also at the ceremony, which was presided by the Oba of Lagos, HRM Oba Aremu Akiolu and the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, HRM Oba Kabir Shotobi, other Obas and Chiefs that were installed and presented with staff of offices in the state were admitted into State Council.

In attendance at the event was the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr Wale Ahmed.
