Lagos Majority Leader To Distribute 250 JAMB Forms, Sponsor Students For CBT Training

The representative of the Ikorodu Constituency I and the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade, has put machinery in motion to distribute 250 JAMB forms to students in his constituency.

Aside  the distribution of the JAMB forms, which is part of the lawmaker’s ‘2021 Educational Development Programme’, the lawmaker will also sponsor the registration and training for the Computer Based Test (CBT) for beneficiaries.

According to the statement by the lawmaker’s Directorate of Education, the initiative is part of the four – term lawmaker’s regular intervention programmes to support the education of students in his constituency.

“This is to formally inform our ever supportive constituents that Hon. S.O.B. Agunbiade is set to distribute Two Hundred and Fifty (250) free JAMB forms to students in Ikorodu Constituency I as part of his regular Educational Development Programme (EDP)”.

While stating that the forms are for interested candidates, the release also added that it is going to be on ‘first come, first serve’ basis.

Many social media platforms, groups, bodies and unions across the Ikorodu Constituency are also allocated specific numbers of the forms which they are to provide beneficiaries for.

“While the forms are for all interested constituents to request for on a first come, first serve basis, the following groups/platforms, among others,  will be specifically accorded some slots for their members.

“National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) chapters across Ikorodu division, National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS), Student Unions across the Division, Ikorodu Ambassadors, and Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI).

Others are, “Impact Platform, Factor Platform, CityScenes Platform, Ikorodu News Network, Ikorodu North APC platform, Ikorodu Central APC platform, APC in Ikorodu West Platform, Omoluabi Platform, Frank Forum and Ikorodu Women in Politics Platform.

“Market Men & Women  (children) , Nigerian Union of Teachers (N.U.T), Physically Challenged (Children), Onward Movement of Nigeria, Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N) and Muslim community.

“Aside the above, two (2) students each from public Secondary schools will benefit from the scheme. The selection of these will be anchored by the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS)”, the release said.

“Remember, every interested JAMB candidate in the Constituency is eligible to contact the committee in charge ditto for the benefitting groups/platforms for a chance to be part of the beneficiaries. No preferential treatment, no discrimination”.

Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, an unrepentant advocate of quality education, has initiated and sponsored numerous educational development programmes as his own contributions to the advancement of education in Ikorodu Constituency 1.

Some of the programmes he has been sponsoring include: The Best Brain Competition (B.B.C), Annual Free G.C.E Forms and Financial Aids for Higher Institution Students.

One of his regular initiatives is the proposed distribution of Free JAMB forms to students.
