Lagos State Government today took delivery of COVID – 19 vaccines to be administered on its residents barely a week after about 4million doses of the vaccines developed by the University of Oxford and drugmaker, AstraZenecaom, were delivered to the federal government in Abuja.
This was revealed today (Tuesday) by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile, on his Twitter handle.
He stated that the world will soon see the end of the rampaging disease that has badly affected global social and economic spheres.
“Arrival of #COVID19 vaccines. We're making progress. The world will see the end of the pandemic. Good morning Lagos”, Akosile wrote on his Twitter handle.
