Photos: Rotary Club Igbogbo Marks 2020 Tree Planting Day

The Rotary Club of Igbogbo on Tuesdays joined millions of others globally to mark the 2020 Tree Planting Day.

The Humanitarian and service club led by its President, Rotarian Francis Shonubi, planted trees at the Rotary Centre along the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way and at the frontage of the Osugbo Shrine in igbogbo.

Members of the club also paid courtesy call on the Adeboruwa of igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen kasali and his chiefs at the Adeboruwa palace, Igbogbo, where the royal father was presented with the club’s membership pin.

The occasion also allowed members of the club to sensitise the traditional council in Igbogbo on the importance of tree planting .
