1771 COVID Patients So Far Discharged In Lagos – Sanwo – Olu

The Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday revealed that 1771 COVID – 19 patients have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos since the pandemic broke out.

He revealed this in a release on the update on the pandemic, while also announcing that another 31 patients from five centres in Lagos were discharged on Monday.

According to the Governor, 15 females and 16 males were discharged from isolation facilities across the state.

“31 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 15 females and 16 males, all Nigerians were discharged from our Isolation facilities today to reunite with the society” Gov. Sanwo – Olu said.

“The patients; 13 from Agidingbi, 8 from Onikan, 8 from Gbagada, 1 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospita, Yaba and 1 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID-19.

“This brings to 1771, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from Lagos Isolation Centres.

He appealed to Lagosians to continue adhering to physical distancing and hand hygiene principles.
