The Lagos State Government continued its rehabilitation of collapsed inner roads in Ikorodu Local Government and Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Area (LCDA) as work started on Mabadeje/Idiat Sanda/Irewunmi Badru – Adebanjo Streets on Friday.
Men of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) commenced the rehabilitation works with the cutting of the affected portions and filling of the damaged parts of the streets on Friday (today).
The streets undergoing rehabilitation have been totally collapsed for several years and have been causing residents and other road users daily nightmares.
Since the beginning of rehabilitation of inner roads about two months ago in Ikorodu, roads such as Owolowo – Ita Elewa – Ireshe – Ota Ona, Ikorodu – Oba Omolaja Road, California – Ikorodu Club road and Aga – Gbasemo road among others have received facelift.
