Jackson Ayika To Represent Ikorodu Division As IBILE Youth Ambassador

 Jackson Adewale Ayika has emerged as the IBILE Ambassador for Ikorodu Division for the 2018/19 session.

He emerged through the recently concluded annual Youth Leadership Academy where representatives from the five (5) Divisions in Lagos State namely- Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos and Epe (IBILE), were assessed by the officials of the Lagos State Government Ministry of Youths and Social Development.

According to a release by Jackson, the first phase of the leadership programme was a 5-day training for over 100 youths at centres across the five (5) division in the State.

After the training, ten (10) best participants were selected from each division to make a total number of fifty (50) participants to compete at the State level.

The competition at the state level was held for six days and was full of enormous task execution as an individual and as a team. There were also impactful trainings, presentations and many more, and at the end, 11 best participants amongst the 50 Ambassadors were selected into three Ambassadorial categories -1 State Youth Ambassador, 5 Divisional Youth Ambassadors and 5 Deputy Ambassadors.

Announcing his emergence as the Divisional Ambassador and also that of his deputy, Jackson stated:

“I bring you goodness, that after coming out as the overall best in Ikorodu Division, l, Jackson Adewale Ayika, has emerged as the 2019/2020 Lagos State IBILE Youth Ambassador for Ikorodu Divisional while Temilade Dorcas Alonge emerged as the Deputy Divisional Ambassador”, he stated.

“However, I must confess that the Lagos State Government, through its Ministry of Youths and Social Development, has indeed invested in us. Therefore, we have no excuse or option than to give back to our community and invest in our youths. The leadership training is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I want the youths of Ikorodu to anticipate proper representation, creativity, and impactful moment come 2020”, he assured.

He appreciated the Governor of Lagos State and members of his team for the privilege opportunities given to the youths in the state.
